Hi, I’m Jonathan Moses.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Air Force Veteran, and native to Idaho. Over the many years in the military and in my travels around the world, I have come to see that each person is of great worth and has value regardless of past circumstances. I am passionate about helping people heal from their past and find joy in their journey.

In an effort to help people heal in the most effective ways possible, I have been trained in some of the most efficient therapies. Some of these include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Adlerian Psychotherapy, and Positive Discipline Parenting.

As a trained EMDR therapist, I specialize in trauma. One thing I have come to see throughout my counseling experience is the connection between trauma and other mental health problems to include anxiety, depression and addiction. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a highly effective, evidenced based therapy that has helped many heal from the trauma they have held onto for years.

I am also a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator. This non-punitive parenting approach specifically helps parents and children develop increased mutual respect, empowers children to develop self-discipline, and self esteem and helps parents learn effective approaches to handle their child’s behaviors in positive ways.

I absolutely love living in Eastern Idaho and being in the beautiful outdoors. I enjoy mountain biking, fly fishing, ice fishing, hiking and Star Wars. I most of all love spending time with my wife and six children.
